A man was shot and wounded when two men broke into his Orland Park home early this morning, police said.
Police received a 911 call about a shooting in the 10900 block of Antelope Lane in Orland Park around 2:50 a.m., authorities said.
Officers found the man, 30, and took him to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, police said. It was not clear if they found him in the home.
Police said two people forced their way into the home and shot the man, then stole "items." Police didn't say what was stolen.
The two jumped into a silver PT Cruiser driven by another man and fled east on Interstate 80, police said.
